Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas sliced to 1/2 to 3/4 inch thickness
  • 2 tsp oil or butter coconut oil recommended
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 pinch sea salt optional

Method
 

  1. Start by peeling your bananas and slicing them into rounds about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.
  2. In a non-stick frying pan, heat your choice of oil or butter over medium heat.
  3. Once the oil or butter is hot, gently place the banana slices in the pan. Avoid overcrowding.
  4. Cook the bananas for about 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Drizzle the maple syrup (or honey) over the bananas and stir gently to coat.
  6. Remove from the pan and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm bananas for the best texture.
  • Feel free to add spices like cinnamon for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
