How to Prepare Air Fried Oreos
- Step 1: Preheat the Air Fryer - Begin by preheating your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes. This ensures even cooking and optimal crispiness.
- Step 2: Prepare the Crescent Dough - If using a package of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, unroll the dough onto a clean surface. If you have a crescent dough sheet, lay it flat. Use a rolling pin to slightly flatten the dough if needed.
- Step 3: Cut the Dough - Cut the dough into 12 equal squares, large enough to wrap around each Oreo completely. Aim for a size of approximately 3x3 inches.
- Step 4: Wrap the Oreos - Take one Oreo cookie and place it in the center of a dough square. Fold the corners of the dough over the Oreo, pinching to seal it completely. Ensure there are no gaps to keep the filling from leaking during cooking.
- Step 5: Place in Air Fryer - Arrange the wrapped Oreos in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching so they can cook evenly.
- Step 6: Air Fry the Oreos - Cook the Oreos in the air fryer for about 5-7 minutes, flipping them halfway through for an even golden brown. Keep an eye on them to ensure they don’t overcook.
- Step 7: Dust with Powdered Sugar - Once cooked, remove the Oreos from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Store uneaten Air Fried Oreos in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- Refrigerate for longer storage, lasting up to a week.
- Reheat in the air fryer for a couple of minutes to regain crispiness.
