These air fryer carrots are incredibly easy and delicious! Perfectly tender and slightly caramelized, they make an irresistible side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound carrots peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Start by washing, peeling, and cutting your carrots into 2-inch pieces on the bias.
  2. In a large bowl, add the carrot pieces. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the seasoned carrots in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Check if the carrots are tender and slightly caramelized. Add an additional 2-3 minutes if you want them crispier.
  6. Remove the carrots from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Serve warm or toss into a salad.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
  • Try seasoning with garlic powder or smoked paprika for a twist!
