Baking Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and apple pie spice.
- Step 4: In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Step 5: Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Step 6: Fold in the chopped apples gently.
- Step 7: Pour the batter into the pan, sprinkle with sugar and remaining apple pie spice, and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Step 8: Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

- For a gluten-free version, use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend.
