Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 5 large)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Step 3: In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  4. Step 4: In another bowl, beat together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Step 5: Add eggs and vanilla to the butter-sugar mixture, beat until combined.
  6. Step 6: Mash the ripe bananas and fold into the wet ingredients.
  7. Step 7: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring gently.
  8. Step 8: Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  9. Step 9: Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes.
  10. Step 10: Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
