Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Steaks - Take the steaks out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking. Pat them dry and season with salt.
  2. Step 2: Heat the Skillet - Place your cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the neutral oil when hot.
  3. Step 3: Sear the Steaks - Place the steaks in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes without moving them.
  4. Step 4: Flip and Cook - Flip the steaks using tongs and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
  5. Step 5: Rest the Steaks - Remove from the skillet and let rest for about 5 minutes tented with foil.
  6. Step 6: Serve and Enjoy - Slice against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
