Ingredients
  

For the Cookies:
  • 1 cup salted butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Colored sprinkles

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add in the flour, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  3. Gently fold in your choice of colored sprinkles.
  4. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

  • Make the dough in advance and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
  • Store baked cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • Freeze baked cookies for up to three months, layered with parchment paper.
