Ingredients
  

For the Waffles:
  • 3 cups Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix with the necessary water or milk as directed on the package.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat together the 4 ounces of softened cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar until smooth. Add in 1/3 cup of heavy whipping cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gently fold the creamy cheese mixture into the waffle batter until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions and lightly grease if needed.
  5. Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the center of the waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove the waffles from the waffle maker and serve warm, topped with fresh fruit and maple syrup.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze waffles in a single layer for up to 2 months.
  • Reheat in a toaster or oven for best results.
