Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix with the necessary water or milk as directed on the package.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the 4 ounces of softened cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar until smooth. Add in 1/3 cup of heavy whipping cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Gently fold the creamy cheese mixture into the waffle batter until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions and lightly grease if needed.
- Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the center of the waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
- Carefully remove the waffles from the waffle maker and serve warm, topped with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
