- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: Carefully slice each jalapeno in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
- Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onion, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix until creamy.
- Step 4: Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
- Step 5: Whisk the egg and dip the filled jalapenos in the egg, then roll in panko bread crumbs.
- Step 6: Place in a greased baking dish and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Step 7: Let them cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapenos.
- These can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated before baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
