Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1.5 cups chopped cooked chicken (grilled, fried, or rotisserie)
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup homemade croutons
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 pieces flour tortillas (10-inch)

Equipment

  • Cutting board
  • Chef’s knife
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula or tongs
  • Serving Platter

Method

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Chop the romaine lettuce and your choice of cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces. If you’re using rotisserie chicken, be sure to remove the skin and bones for a healthier option.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, chicken, Caesar dressing, and grated Parmesan cheese. Gently toss everything together until the lettuce and chicken are well coated in the dressing. Season with Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  3. Lay out your flour tortillas on a clean surface or plate. You can warm them slightly in a dry skillet or microwave for about 10 seconds to make them more pliable if you prefer.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken and lettuce mixture onto each tortilla, leaving some space at the edges. Top with homemade croutons for added crunch.
  5. Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it from the bottom up, enclosing the filling completely. Slice in half diagonally, if desired, for easier eating.
  6. Place your Chicken Caesar Wraps on a serving platter, and they’re ready to devour! Pair them with some fresh fruit or a side of chips for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Customize with different greens like spinach or kale.
  • Try shrimp or tofu as a protein variation.
  • Make your own croutons for a personal touch.
