- Start by draining and rinsing the garbanzo beans under cold water. Set them aside.
- In your food processor, combine the rinsed garbanzo beans, fresh cilantro, jalapeño peppers, lime juice, tahini, minced garlic, ground cumin, and salt.
- Start blending the mixture, and gradually add 1-3 tablespoons of aquafaba to reach your desired consistency.
- Taste your hummus and adjust flavors as needed, adding more lime juice or salt if desired.
- Transfer your hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, garnish with additional cilantro, and serve with pita chips or fresh veggies.

- Store hummus in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
- For a creamier texture, adjust the amount of aquafaba.
- This hummus freezes well; just leave some space in the container for expansion.
