Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Accent seasoning (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons dehydrated onions
  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons mustard
  • 16 dill pickle slices

Equipment

  • Skillet or grill
  • Spatula
  • Bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Knife and cutting board

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck with salt, black pepper, Accent seasoning (if using), and dehydrated onions. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into round patties, about 3-4 inches in diameter. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties to the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns cut-side down in a separate skillet for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Assemble your burgers starting with the bottom bun, add a patty, and top with ketchup, mustard, and dill pickle slices. Finish with the top bun.
  6. Serve your homemade Classic McDonalds Hamburgers with your favorite sides and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can prepare the burger patties in advance and refrigerate them for up to 24 hours.
  • Leftover unassembled burgers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Experiment with different toppings like cheese, lettuce, or sauces for added flavor.
