Method
 

Preparation Steps:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a mixing bowl, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Combine with melted butter until coated.
  2. Step 2: Line the baking pan with parchment paper. Press the Oreo crumb mixture into the bottom of the pan and bake for about 10 minutes.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, then sour cream, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Step 4: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Step 5: Fold in chopped Oreo cookies into the cheesecake batter gently.
  6. Step 6: Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and bake for 45-50 minutes until edges are set.
  7. Step 7: Let cool in the oven for an hour, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
