Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Open the tube of crescent rolls and gently unroll the dough onto a lightly floured surface.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the orange zest, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Spread a thin layer of butter over the unrolled crescent dough. Then, sprinkle the orange filling evenly over the dough, followed by the mini chocolate chips.
- Starting from the wide end of the crescent triangle, carefully roll the dough towards the pointed end, forming a tight log. Pinch the seams to seal.
- Once rolled, slice the log into 8 equal pieces. Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each roll.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Your kitchen will smell amazing!
- While the rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar and fresh orange juice in a small bowl until smooth. Once the rolls are out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
- Serve these Easy Chocolate Chip Orange Sweet Rolls warm, and watch them disappear in no time!
Notes
- For the best flavor, use fresh orange zest and juice.
- Don’t overfill the rolls, or they may burst open while baking.
- Consider adding chopped nuts for extra texture.
