In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained crab meat, onion powder, garlic powder, mayo, and soy sauce. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined, creating a smooth filling.
Lay out your wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place about one tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each wrapper. Be careful not to overfill.
Moisten the edges of the wonton wrappers with a little water. Fold the wrapper over the filling to create a triangle shape. Press the edges firmly to seal.
In a frying pan or deep fryer, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Carefully add a few wontons to the hot oil, frying them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
