  1. Step 1: Prepare Your Pan - Start by greasing your 9x9-inch baking pan or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: Combine Ingredients - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, unsalted butter, and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  3. Step 3: Melt in the Microwave - Microwave the mixture on high for 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Repeat this process until the mixture is smooth, about 1.5 to 2 minutes total.
  4. Step 4: Add Vanilla - Stir in the vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  5. Step 5: Pour and Set - Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Step 6: Chill - Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it is firm enough to cut into squares.
