Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened (2 sticks)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Cookie Scoop

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Next, add the softened cream cheese, whole milk, and vanilla extract to the mixture. Beat until well combined, ensuring there are no lumps.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  5. Gently fold the chocolate chips into the cookie dough using a spatula, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your delicious Eggless Chocolate Chip Cookies with a glass of milk or your favorite beverage!

Notes

  • Chill the cookie dough for 30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading.
  • For chewier cookies, use more brown sugar.
  • Experiment with different flours for a unique texture.
