  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder enhances taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt balances flavors

  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce adds zesty kick

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Cooking Spray
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Start by washing and cutting your cauliflower head into bite-sized florets.
  2. In one mixing bowl, add the beaten egg. In another bowl, combine the whole-wheat Panko breadcrumbs, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and kosher salt. Mix well.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the basket with avocado oil cooking spray. Arrange breaded cauliflower in a single layer, spraying tops lightly.
  5. Air fry the cauliflower for about 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Transfer cooked cauliflower to a mixing bowl and drizzle with buffalo sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the air fryer to restore crispiness; avoid the microwave.
  • Substitute buffalo sauce with your favorite sauce for different flavors.
