Start by patting the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, honey, oyster sauce (or soy sauce), turmeric powder, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well blended.
Place the chicken thighs in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken thighs, skin-side down.
Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy. Flip the chicken and reduce the heat to medium. Cook for another 7-10 minutes until cooked through.
Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a serving plate. Drizzle any leftover marinade from the pan over the top and serve.
