  1. Step 1: Prepare Your Ingredients. Gather all your ingredients and tools.
  2. Step 2: Combine Dry Ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine the unsweetened shredded coconut, vanilla protein powder, and lemon zest. Stir well.
  3. Step 3: Add Wet Ingredients. Add the honey or agave syrup and melted coconut oil to the dry mixture. Stir until combined.
  4. Step 4: Form the Energy Balls. Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat until all mixture is used up.
  5. Step 5: Refrigerate. Place the energy balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
