Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise Choose a brand you love.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest Adds a vibrant citrus note.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped chive Offers a mild onion flavor.
  • 1-2 fillets anchovy minced, adjust to taste.
  • 1 clove garlic minced.
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard Adds tanginess.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Method
 

  1. Gather your ingredients to make the mixing process smoother.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of mayonnaise and the minced anchovy fillets. Stir well to combine.
  3. Incorporate 1 tablespoon of lemon zest, 1 tablespoon of fresh chopped chives, and 1 clove of minced garlic into the mayonnaise mixture.
  4. Add ½ teaspoon of Dijon mustard for extra zing.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mixing until well combined and creamy.
  6. Taste and adjust the flavors as needed, adding more lemon zest or mustard if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Try a vegan version by using vegan mayonnaise.
