Instructions:
- Start by cutting each string cheese stick in half, yielding 24 pieces of cheesy goodness.
- In three shallow bowls, set up your breading station: flour in the first bowl, whisked egg and egg white in the second, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and seasonings in the third.
- Take a cheese stick, dip it in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Repeat with all sticks.
- Place the breaded mozzarella sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spray with olive oil cooking spray.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the mozzarella sticks for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool for a minute, then serve hot with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
