Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Rolled Oats old-fashioned for best texture
  • 1.5 cups Chocolate Chips semi-sweet or dark
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter creamy or crunchy
  • 0.5 cups Maple Syrup or honey as an alternative
  • 0.25 cups Coconut Oil or substitute with butter

Method
 

  1. Begin by lining your baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the maple syrup, then add the rolled oats and mix until fully combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press down firmly with a spatula.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
  6. Remove from the dish using the parchment paper overhang and cut into squares or rectangles.

Notes

  • Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Freeze individually wrapped bars for up to 3 months for an easy grab-and-go snack!
