Ingredients

For the Crust:
  • 12 whole graham cracker sheets roughly broken
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter melted (1 stick)
For the Filling:
  • 2 cups Nutella
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz. mascarpone cheese at room temperature
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Topping:
  • 15-17 pieces marshmallows regular size

Equipment

  • 9-inch pie dish
  • Mixing bowls (various sizes)
  • Electric mixer or whisk
  • Spatula
  • Oven

Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the roughly broken graham cracker sheets and granulated sugar. Pour in the melted butter and mix until the crumbs are well-coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of your pie dish to create a sturdy crust. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Nutella, mascarpone cheese, and salt. Using an electric mixer, beat them together until smooth and creamy. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the Nutella mixture until fully combined.
  3. Step 3: Once your crust has cooled, pour the Nutella filling into the pie crust and spread it evenly. Smooth the top with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let it set.
  4. Step 4: Arrange the marshmallows on top of the pie in a decorative pattern. Using a kitchen torch or your oven’s broiler, toast the marshmallows until they are golden brown and gooey. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
  5. Step 5: Slice the pie, serve, and enjoy the delightful flavors of your Nutella Smores Pie (Almost No Bake).
