Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients
  

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy
  • 1 cup salted butter cut into tablespoon pieces
  • 3.5 cups confectioners’ sugar sifted
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • Flaky sea salt optional, for topping

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Mixing spoon
  • 9x9 inch baking pan
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the 1 cup of salted butter and 1 cup of peanut butter. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat. Gradually add 3 ½ cups of sifted confectioners’ sugar, stirring until fully incorporated.
  3. Add 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract and mix well until combined.
  4. Pour the fudge mixture into a prepared 9x9 inch baking pan, spreading evenly with a spatula.
  5. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top if using. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Once set, lift out using parchment paper, cut into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
  • For longer storage, wrap in plastic and foil and freeze for up to three months.
  • Cut into individual pieces for easy treats!
