  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 cup cooked chicken shredded
  • ½ cup green onions diced
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure your flautas bake evenly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, shredded chicken, diced green onions, crushed red pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Mix until creamy.
  3. Take a flour tortilla and spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the filling mixture onto one side. Roll it tightly and place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
  4. Lightly spray or brush the tops of the flautas with cooking oil. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!
