Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and unflavored protein powder. Stir them together until well blended.
- Step 3: Add the Greek yogurt and egg white to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms. It may be a bit sticky, but that’s okay.
- Step 4: Dust your hands with a little flour, take a portion of the dough, and roll it into a ball. Use your finger to poke a hole in the center, shaping it into a bagel form. Repeat this process for the remaining dough.
- Step 5: Place the shaped bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Bake them in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and sound hollow when tapped.
- Step 6: Remove the bagels from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Once cooled, they’re ready to enjoy!
Notes
- Store cooled bagels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- For longer storage, freeze the bagels in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 3 months.
- To reheat, simply pop the bagels in the toaster or oven until warmed through.
