Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1-2 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1-2 Tbsp dill leaves finely chopped
  • dill sprigs for garnish
  • 4 oz smoked salmon
  • 1 long baguette
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter melted

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and pressed garlic cloves. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped dill leaves and adjust to taste.
  3. Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick rounds and brush with melted butter if desired.
  4. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each slice of baguette and top with a piece of smoked salmon.
  5. Garnish each sandwich with a sprig of dill and arrange on a serving platter.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese.
  • Experiment with different types of bread, like whole grain or rye.
