Preparation Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line your 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, water, vegetable oil, and egg. Mix well until smooth. Pour this mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- In another bowl, combine the cookie mix, softened butter, milk, and half of the toffee bits to make the cookie dough. Mix until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough on top of the brownie layer and gently spread it out.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool for 15 minutes.
- For the chocolate drizzle, melt the chopped chocolate and heavy cream together until smooth. Optional: add corn syrup for a glossy finish.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled brownies, then sprinkle with the remaining toffee bits and mini chocolate chips. Allow to set before slicing.
Notes
- Use high-quality brownie mix for better flavor.
- For a nut-free version, use nut-free cookie mix.
- Adjust toffee bits according to your sweetness preference.
- For dairy-free, substitute butter with a plant-based alternative.
