Cooking Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Remove the turkey from its packaging and take out any giblets or neck from the cavity. Rinse the turkey under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, dried Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, Kosher salt, and cracked black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Step 4: Gently lift the skin of the turkey and spread some of the butter mixture underneath it. Rub the remaining mixture all over the outside of the turkey.
- Step 5: Sprinkle flour inside the cooking bag to prevent bursting.
- Step 6: Carefully place the seasoned turkey inside the cooking bag and seal it. Make slits in the top of the bag to allow steam to escape.
- Step 7: Place the bagged turkey in a roasting pan and roast for about 13-15 minutes per pound.
- Step 8: Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
- Step 9: Let the turkey rest in the bag for about 20-30 minutes before carving.
- Step 10: Slice the turkey and serve with your favorite sides.
