Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Layer:
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 2 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 7 ounces sweetened condensed milk Half of a 14-ounce can
  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk to thin out the frosting as needed

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9x13" baking pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and bake for about 25-30 minutes.
  3. Combine the white cake mix, eggs, water, and oil in another bowl and beat until smooth.
  4. Beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar, vanilla, and sweetened condensed milk.
  5. Pour the cake batter over cooled brownies and dollop cream cheese mixture on top, swirling it gently.
  6. Bake the assembled cake for an additional 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

  • Store leftover cake in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Wrap slices tightly in plastic wrap and foil to freeze for up to 3 months.
