Ingredients
  

  • 6 ounces feta cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives (chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (+ extra for drizzling)
  • 1/2 lemon juice + zest from
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Method
 

  1. Begin by measuring out all your ingredients. It’s essential that both the feta and cream cheese are at room temperature for easy blending.
  2. In a food processor, combine the feta cheese and cream cheese. Pulse until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Next, add the chopped oregano, basil, chives, and minced garlic to the processor. Blend again until the herbs are well incorporated.
  4. With the processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil. Then, add the lemon juice and zest. Continue blending until everything is creamy and smooth.
  5. Taste your whipped feta and season with salt and pepper as desired. Blend once more to combine.
  6. Transfer the whipped feta to a serving bowl. Drizzle with a little extra olive oil on top and garnish with additional herbs if desired. Enjoy with your favorite dippers!
